New Car Registrations in Europe: -18.3% in February 2009

Image: ACEA Europeans Buying Fewer Cars The European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) released numbers for new passenger car registrations in February 2009, and it's pretty clear what the trend is. In the past 12 months only 2 saw an increase compared to the year before, and half of them show drops of more than 10%. As for February 2009, it's 18.3% lower than February 2008, from about 1.2 million vehicles to about 0.97 million....
